Collaborate, learn, and do business in Brussels at the Plastics Recycling World Expo Europe
The Plastics Recycling World Expo Europe is taking place at the Brussels Expo in Belgium on 11-12 September 2024. Returning for the fourth time, this expo and conference brings together industry leaders, experts and enthusiasts from around the globe for two days of learning, inspiration and networking opportunities.
With a free ticket, you’ll gain access to an extensive exhibit showcasing the latest advancements in plastics recycling. Additionally, by accessing the co-located Plastics Extrusion World Expo and Compounding World Expo, you can benefit from the crossover within these industries. Visitors will have access to three shows, featuring more than 200 suppliers, plus to three focused conference theatres, featuring a dynamic two-day programme filled with technical presentations, seminars, and industry debates, which includes influential representatives from leading compounders, recyclers and extruders.
“The event will provide visitors with a fantastic opportunity to meet and compare suppliers from around the world, as well as giving them the chance to learn from business leaders and technical experts in the conference theatres” – said Jenny Amaru, Expos Business Unit Manager at AMI. “When we ran these expos in Essen, Germany last year, they attracted more than 3,000 visitors including buyers and specifiers from leading compounders, recyclers, extruders, OEMs and brand owners”.
The three expos will feature a wide array of leading manufacturers of compounding, recycling and extrusion equipment, plus suppliers of a huge variety of polymers, additives and related services. There will also be special zones focused on chemical recycling and polymer testing.
The exhibitor line-up already includes companies such as: APK; B+B; Bandera; Buss; Coperion; Erema; Farrel Pomini; FKuR; Gneuss; Hosokawa Alpine; ICMA San Giorgio; KraussMaffei Extrusion; Leistritz; LKAB Minerals; Maag; Mixaco; NGR; Nordson; Orlen Unipetrol; Piovan; Polystar; Rianlon; Sachtleben Minerals; Sikora; Sogapol; Sorema; Starlinger; Theysohn Extrusionstechnik; Unitechem; Van Werven; Vecoplan; Wacker Chemie; Weima; and many more.

Maximise your time
We know it’s important to make the most of your time when attending an expo. That’s why the co-located shows will now feature the Plastics Extrusion World Expo and a Polymer Testing Zone to provide visitors with enhanced crossover opportunities and a comprehensive experience within the broader compounding industry.
The conference
The conference for the Plastics Recycling World Expo boasts a comprehensive agenda that covers the latest technological innovations, legislative changes and market drivers in the world of plastics recycling. From the diverse array of industry presentations, attendees can expect to learn about the latest advances in mechanical recycling machinery, recent innovations in solvent-based recycling technology, new information about major textiles recycling projects, emerging additives that promise to improve recyclate quality, and much more. The event offers a platform for industry leading organisations to share their knowledge and expertise, along with unique learning opportunities such as a training seminar on the complementary use of mechanical and chemical recycling.
In addition to industry talks, the event features multiple panels discussing key issues for the sector. With EPR schemes proliferating, PPWR changing the way we produce, consume, and recycle packaging, and the proposed ELV regulation looking to expand the scope of recycling efforts, this is a challenging time for the plastics industry but one that offers new opportunities for sustainable growth.
The Plastics Recycling World Expo North America will be held in Cleveland, Ohio, on November 13-14, 2024.
