In order to better meet the growing market demand, Binova, a national and European leader for its recycling and compounding plants with co-rotating twin-screw extruders, is investing in a new operational headquarters of about 2000 square metres, in the Industrial Area of MEZZOMERICO (NO).
The location is a few kilometres away from the current production site in Oleggio (NO), in a strategic position, easily reachable from the Milan Malpensa airport, the Lakes motorway and the Milan-Turin motorway.
The new plant will make it possible to respond to the need for more space, to implement the reorganisation of warehouse management through the use of new IT tools, to strengthen the assembly and testing processes of several plants at the same time, and to increase the workforce, thanks to the availability of large office spaces.
In addition, all existing information technology will be upgraded in order to streamline design and procurement processes and better plan material flow, assembly activities, and improve cost control. This will also further improve the already highly efficient after-sales/spare parts service.
This is a further step in the company’s growth programme as it seeks to expand its market.
